Welcome

Welcome
 to a stately hall!

Texas history is alive at the Hall of State.  Beneath the magnificent gold-leaf Great Seal of Texas, or among the bronze statues in the Hall of Heroes, one senses the dignity that characterizes the Lone Star State.  You can visit the world's greatest example of Texas Art Deco architecture by taking the virtual tour.

Built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial celebration, the Hall of State has been the choice site for events honoring presidents, heads of state and other dignitaries for more than 60 years.  Located five minutes from downtown Dallas, the Hall of State can be rented for private functions ranging from corporate dinners or meetings to weddings or black tie galas.  Steve Parker, CMP, Executive Vice President of the Hall of State will assist you in making all the arrangements necessary to rent the building.

Imagine a breathtaking wedding followed by a festive reception.  A seated dinner for up to 500 dignitaries.  An elegant cocktail gathering for friends or business associates.  Even a lecture, graduation, recital or presentation in our 394 seat Lecture Hall

Whatever your needs, the Hall of State can provide the accomodations for your successful event.  And, with our commitment to gracious service and surprising affordability, you are assured an unforgettable event.
