With 25 years experience in the special events industry, Steve Parker
a Certified Meeting Professional, brings a unique blend of expertise to the Hall of State.
Steve joined the Dallas Historical Society in July 1995.
His mission was to increase exposure to the Hall of State to both visitors and guests to special events. He continues to meet that goal year after year with building rentals up almost 400%.
Steve thinks of everyone who
walks into the Hall of State as a customer who must be made comfortable and remain excited. He wants everyone who visits to leave with a positive and lasting memory. It could be from something learned about Texans from
the murals in the Great Hall from an exhibit, an incredible meal at a social function, or a visit to the annual State Fair of Texas.
It doesn't matter to him. He strives to make the customer experience unforgettable
